So as I have said in the past, I love birthdays. I like celebrating whether it's a small gathering or a big celebration. This past Monday my husband planned a small dinner with my family for my birthday. It was cool and I enjoyed having my kids sing me happy birthday.

Only one problem though, my godparents were not there. You may think it's no big deal, but I believe that they play a huge part as to why I love birthday celebrations. See every year since my first birthday, my godparents would bring me a cake and a gift on my bday. This year though, they broke the tradition or so I thought. They called me on Monday afternoon to wish me a happy birthday but said they were not able to come until Tuesday. I waited on Tuesday and they were a no show :( I began thinking no biggie I am getting older and well it's okay. But today they did show up and guess what they brought me a dessert as my cake and my gift.
I so love them.
