Future Rock Star??

Well he is in my eyes, my husband. He loves music, loves making it, and loves playing. At times it does get a little annoying for me that I can go a week without listening to music. But not Ismael, thats what he knows. He's been in a couple of bands both Spanish (lead guitarist) and English (bass). Had some good gigs when we were dating but then all of a sudden the gigs ended and band members weren't on the same page.
After a few years of no gigs, Ismael has joined a new Spanish rock band and its pretty cool. Too cool so far, as I am home alone for the third time while he's rocking out at a club. It looks like this will be a routine for Wednesday nights, probably even Thursday and Sunday nights as well. It's all good, he loves it and is excited about having paying gigs.

He's so serious when he plays
.

Just a really quick video of their first gig that I actually went to. Not the greatest video but as a good wife I got front row seats, took pictures and video. Maybe I will be there on his next gig that doesn't fall on a day in which I would have to wake up early the next day to work =(

Sick Puppy

Maximus has been down in the dumps this past week and its been kinda rough for us as we have to clean up after him. Max has had diarrhea since Tuesday and we have no idea what could be the cause. Maybe he cought something outside on our outdoor time. Maybe it was something he ate as he tends to think he's a vacuum and sucks up everything he finds on the floor. Or maybe it could be the red peppers he loves to eat when we're visiting my parents.
Anyway, I finally decided to take him to the vet on Saturday as I began to worry it could be worms. We will know by tomorrow if he has worms. But in the mean time Max is on drugs, prescribed that is. Aside from this morning, no diarrhea so far but then again no poop either. I also started feeding him white rice and chicken like the vet said and well of course Max is thrilled about that.

The good thing is that he's still playful, loving and of course still likes to chew on toys and mama's toes. He also likes to keep a smile on his face, what a champ!
